What inspired you to make this project?
Our lab operates mainly to provide educational experiences to high school, college, university, and post graduate interns. Over the years we've expanded from simple process projects to more tinkering with software development and maker fabrication to solve real-world issues faced by City staff and leaders. We continually use available tech to research new methods and findings to build out IoT, Web development, CyberPhysical objects, and Virtualization.
We now wish to share this work more publicly with like-minded people and organizations.
What are some of the challenges you have encountered and how did you address them?
Working in knowledge platform development is still very new, with only large organizations having the economies to support failfast iterations. We are challenged to work iteratively building from small data sources and create authoritative platforms that can inform the public with reliable information.
